This is a package tour will show you Vietnam from the North to the Central Highland and stopover in Ho Chi Minh City for your next destination.
Day 1: Arrive in Hanoi (Welcome dinner)
We representative will greet and pick you up at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi. Located on the banks of the Red River, Vietnam's capital is a stylish and gracious city that retains a unique old world charm and has some of Asia‘s most striking colonial architecture. Transfer to the Centre of Hanoi. Afternoon: City tour comprising Lake of Restored Sword, Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature, the Ethnology Museum (closed on Monday) and a downtown pedicab ride (1 hour) round the old quarters of Hanoi, a collection of narrow streets, each named after the product sold. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Ninh Binh – Hanoi - Night train to Lao Cai (B, L)
Drive to Ninh Binh (100km from Hanoi). Visit the Dinh & Le dynasty temples in Hoa Lu, an ancient capital of Vietnam (968 – 1009). Continue with a sampan ride to Tam Coc, known as Vietnam’s “inland Halong Bay”. Paddle through three enormous caves and view local fisher folk, village life along the river and, of course, the striking limestone karst formations. Move onwards to the Bich Dong cave pagodas dating from the 17th century. Lunch served at local restaurant. Way back to Hanoi. Transfer to Hanoi Railways Station in time to catch a night train (approximately 21: 30) for Lao Cai. Stay overnight aboard the train.

Day 3: Lao Cai – Bac Ha - Sapa (B, L, D)
Arrive at Lao Cai station in the early morning (approximately 5: 30). Breakfast served at a hotel restaurant in Lao Cai, the border town to Yunnan, China. Drive on winding roads to one of the most exciting fairs of ethnic minorities in Lao Cai: the Tuesday Coc Ly Fair, the Wednesday Cao Son Fair, the Thursday Lung Khau Nhin fair, the Saturday Can Cau Fair, or the Bac Ha Sunday Fair. In the afternoon proceed to Sapa town, about 1, 500m above sea level. Stay overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: Sapa - Lao Cai – Hanoi (B, L)
Enjoy a full day tour of Sapa. Visit Sapa Market, the Black H’mong and Dzay villages of Lao Chai, Ta Van. Afternoon visit the Black H’mong village of Cat Cat. Transfer to Lao Cai Railways Station to catch a night train (approximately 20: 15) to Hanoi. Stay overnight aboard the train.

Day 5: Hanoi - Halong (B, L, D)
Arrive at Hanoi Railways Station early in the morning (approximately 04: 30). Pick-up and transfer to Halong (180km). Embark a traditional-style wooden boat for a cruise around the wondrous Halong Bay, a World Natural Heritage site listed by UNESCO in 1994. Enjoy the spectacular sight of magical grottoes, marvel at odd-shaped islands and relax in the best scenic beauty of Vietnam and marvelous sunset. The calm sea provides an ideal location for sea kayaking. Lunch of fresh seafood is served while cruising. Stay overnight & Dinner on board.


Day 6: Halong - Hanoi (B, L)
Continuing the cruise in the Bay with Lunch on board Afternoon: Back to Hanoi. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 7: Hanoi - Hue (B, L)
Transfer to Noi Bai airport for the flight to Hue. Pick up on arrival at Hue Airport and transfer to the Center of Hue, former imperial city of Vietnam ruled by 13 Nguyen dynasties. Explore the Royal Citadel, built in 1804 on a site chosen in accordance with geomancy. The tour of Imperial City features Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace (Palace of Supreme Harmony), and Forbidden Purple City. The next stop is the lively Dong Ba market. In the afternoon pay visits to the elaborate mausoleums of King Tu Duc (ruled 1848 – 1883) and King Khai Dinh (ruled 1916 – 1925). The monuments, designed by the kings themselves, were also used as holiday retreats during their lifetime. Stay overnight in Hue.

Day 8: Hue - Hoi An (B, L)
Enjoy a a boat cruise along Perfume River leading to Thien Mu Pagoda one of the oldest ancient architectural structures for religious worship in Hue. Depart for Hoi An via the Pass of Ocean Clouds and the scenic fishing village of Lang Co. Enjoy the beautiful landscapes and panoramic views of the clouds, the sea and the mountains during the journey. In the afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of the enchanting port town of Hoi An to visit the ancient structures comprising the 400 year-old Japanese Covered Bridge, residential houses, assembly halls, historic and ancient pagodas, etc., the colorful market, shops offering silk lanterns, paintings and high quality clothes; and watch local daily activities, handicraftsmen at work Stay overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An - Pleiku – Kontum (B, L)
Transfer to Danang airport for the flight to Pleiku. Meet on arrival at Pleiku airport and transfer to Kontum. Visit to the Wooden Cathedral, Kontum Monastery and the Bahnar village of Kon H’ngo Ktu. Stay overnight in Kon Tum.

Day 10: Kontum - Pleiku - Buon Ma Thuot (B, L)
In the morning visit the Kontum market before the departure to Pleiku. Visit T’Nung Lake at Pleiku. Then, continue on road to Buon Ma Thuot. Stay overnight in Buon Ma Thuot. Stay overnight in Buon Ma Thuot.

Day 11: Buon Ma Thuot – Lake Lak – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
In the morning transfer to Lak Lake. On arrival, enjoy a dugout canoe ride on the lake Lak and an elephant ride through the M’nong villages of Yun and M’lieng. Enjoy the cultural show inside a long house. In the afternoon, transfer to the airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Meet on arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer to the Center of Ho Chi Minh city. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 12: Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B, L)
Visit the History Museum (closed on Monday), the Central Post Office; have a short walk along the shopping Dong Khoi Street (former Rue Catinat) from Notre Dame Cathedral to the Municipal Theatre. The next stop is Emperor of Jade Pagoda, built in 1900 and dedicated to the worship of the supreme god and other deities. In the afternoon, travel to Binh Tay wholesale market to observe the daily life of stall and street vendors. Then, visit the Thien Hau Temple, dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea. The last stop of the day is Ben Thanh market, with over 3, 000 stalls in the market, there is nothing you cannot find in this oldest and busiest market in Vietnam. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City Tour - My Tho - Can Tho (B, L)
Drive 75km to My Tho, a peaceful town on the bank of the Mekong River. On arrival board a private boat for a boat cruise along one of the Mekong River’s main tributaries to an islet. Once at there, visit some local homes and orchards where you can taste seasonal fruits and honey tea and enjoy a performance of traditional southern singing. Continue with a sampan ride through palm-shaded creeks. Lunch of Mekong specialties is served at local restaurant. Then, travel to Can Tho, recognized as the capital city of all the Mekong Delta provinces. Stay overnight in Can Tho.

Day 14: Can Tho - Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)
Take a boat ride along Can Tho River to the well-known Cai Rang floating market where you can view local people selling and buying vegetables, fruits, etc. in daily life. Join them to buy some fruits if you like. Then visit a local market before driving back to Ho Chi Minh City. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 15: Ho Chi Minh City - Departure (B)
Spend last minutes shopping (ceramics, silver-carvings, silk, etc.) before check-out. Transfer to the airport for departure flight.
